Antonio Brown is an All-Pro wide receiver ... and that's about it. At least, that is the impression one might get from taking a look at his bio on Twitter.

Brown removed any mention of the Pittsburgh Steelers from the bio, further distancing himself from his current team, which he seemingly wants no part of anymore. It used to read "Pittsburgh @Steelers All-Pro WR #AB84" but now reads "All-Pro WR #AB84."

Team president Art Rooney II said this past week that the team would not release the seven-time Pro Bowl selection. It is, however, willing to consider all other options. Rooney went as far as to say he can't envision Brown being with the team when players reconvene for training camp in July.

If the choice were Brown's, which it is not, it sure seems like the disgruntled wide receiver would love playing for the San Francisco 49ers. As he removes mention of the Steelers and unfollows the team on social media, he started following the 49ers and several of their players since the end of the regular season.

While Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that NFL execs believe the Steelers could get at least a second-round draft pick in exchange for the 30-year-old receiver, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that Pittsburgh is expecting the bidding to include a first-round selection and will begin entertaining offers at the NFL Scouting Combine next month.

Brown even appears to be an art buff and posted this interesting portrait of himself and Jerry Rice. We'll let you interpret it for yourself.

H/t to Steelers Depot for the find.

Rumor: Steelers believe they can acquire 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk at a bargain

By David Bonilla
Apr 17

According to Sports Illustrated contributor Noah Strackbein, who writes for "All Steelers" on the network, there's a level of confidence within the Pittsburgh Steelers organization that they can strike a deal for San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk—and at a bargain rate. "According to a team source, the Steelers and 49ers trade talks are real," Strackbein wrote. "While nothing is imminent, they 'would be surprised if it didn't happen.' But it all comes down to compensation, and Pittsburgh isn't willing to budge much on price." While it seems unlikely that the 49ers would part ways with Aiyuk for anything less than a first-round draft

On Wednesday, Chat Sports contributor Chase Senior reported that the Pittsburgh Steelers were "aggressively pursuing" San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. He further stated that the Steelers are confident they can finalize a deal for the star player. REPORTS: The Pittsburgh Steelers are aggressively pursuing a Brandon Aiyuk trade and the Steelers would be "surprised" if they don't land Aiyuk. Of note: Pittsburgh has the 20th overall pick. Aiyuk posted a video to Instagram, showing himself dancing and seemingly celebrating the good fortune of one of his NFL peers. The Detroit Lions recently inked their star wideout, Amon-Ra St. Brown, to a lucrative four-year, $120 million contract extension. Aiyuk eagerly awaits his own deal from the 49ers and recognizes that the news out of Detroit will only strengthen his agent, Ryan Williams' hand at the negotiating table. Brandon

Breaking down the 49ers drafts under John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan

By Marc Adams
Apr 20

We are less than one week away from the NFL Draft, and the San Francisco 49ers have their first day-one draft pick since 2021. That was the year they selected QB Trey Lance number three overall. The trade-up to get Lance cost the 49ers their first-round picks in 2022 and 2023. And now that they are back in the first round, at pick 31, fans are anxious to see what the team does with the pick. And with former assistant GM, Adam Peters, now in Washington, it will be interesting to see how well the 49ers draft without Peters in the room. We looked back at the seven drafts GM John Lynch and Head Coach Kyle Shanahan have led to see what information we could pull from those drafts. There were plenty of hits, plenty of misses, and a few surprises along the way. The draft picks are
