The San Francisco 49ers won their third game of the season by defeating the Houston Texans on Sunday at NRG Stadium. San Francisco improves to 3-10 and has now won three of its last four games. Houston drops to 4-9.

Below is a mix of some key player and team stats provided by the 49ers Communications staff and Pro Football Focus.

Key Player Statistics


Garoppolo finished the game completing 20 of 33 pass attempts for a career-high 334 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. He had a career-long 61-yard completion to tight end Garrett Celek.

Garoppolo's 627 passing yards in his first two starts with the 49ers are a franchise best by a quarterback in his first two starts since the merger in 1970.

Garoppolo was under pressure on 16 of his 36 dropbacks (44%). Garoppolo was 7 of 14 for 132 yards, an interception, and a 53.3 passer rating when under pressure. When kept clean, he was 13 of 19 for 202 yards, a touchdown, and a 120.9 passer rating.

Garoppolo was 8 of 11 for 195 yards and an interception on intermediate throws (10-19 yards downfield).

With the win, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has won his first four career starts and is one of four active quarterbacks to win his first four career NFL starts (Drew Brees - 2002, Ben Roethlisberger - 2004, and Trevor Siemian - 2016).

Left tackle Joe Staley did not allow a quarterback pressure throughout the whole game. Zane Beadles, who was filling in for Trent Brown at right tackle, allowed a sack and six quarterback hurries.

Fullback Kyle Juszczyk had three receptions for a single-game career-high 64 yards.

Tight end Garrett Celek had two receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown. His six-yard touchdown reception was his was his third of the season and ninth of his career.

Wide receiver Marquise Goodwin had six receptions for 106 yds. It was his second game with 100-or-more reception yards this season (116 yards against the Indianapolis Colts during Week 5) and third of his career.

Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner brought down Texans quarterback T.J. Yates for a seven-yard loss, had a quarterback hit, and five hurries. Buckner now has 2.5 sacks this season and 8.5 for his career.

Defensive end Elvis Dumervil had a quarterback hit and three hurries in 24 pass rushes.

Linebacker Eli Harold sacked Savage for a seven-yard loss and now has two sacks this season and five for his career.

Cornerback K'Waun Williams sacked Savage for a three-yard loss. It was his first sack of the season and third of his career.

Cornerback Dontae Johnson allowed nine catches on 10 targets for 140 yards and a touchdown before getting benched. He also committed three penalties in the game.

Safety Adrian Colbert forced Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to fumble the football. Linebacker Aaron Lynch made the recovery.

Kicker Robbie Gould connected on each of his four field goal attempts (52, 35, 25, 41 yards out). He now has 108 points this season and has made 14 consecutive field goals. Gould's 52-yard field goal in the second quarter tied his season long. He has hit on all three this season from 50-or-more yards out.

The win marked the first time San Francisco has won consecutive road games since November 9, 2014, against the New Orleans Saints and November 16, 2014, against the New York Giants.

The 49ers have won consecutive games for the first time since November 16, 2014, against the New York Giants and November 23, 2014, against the Washington Redskins.
