San Francisco 49ers RB Carlos Hyde has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has not practiced this week due to a shoulder injury that he suffered against the Buffalo Bills. The injury is not expected to be a long-term issue and Hyde said that he expects to return following the bye week.

Mike Davis will likely replace Hyde as the starting running back against the Buccaneers. Shaun Draughn is the other running back on the roster. Expect the 49ers to promote either DuJuan Harris or rookie Kelvin Taylor from the practice squad and have three running backs active for Sunday.

To go along with the 49ers' top running back, the Buccaneers will also be without their own. RB Doug Martin has been ruled out with a hamstring injury.

WR Torrey Smith is questionable due to a back injury. Following some frustrating performances this season with Blaine Gabbert as the team's quarterback, Smith contributed 76 yards and a touchdown with Colin Kaepernick in there during Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills.

CB Rashard Robinson is also listed as questionable as he recovers from a concussion suffered against the Bills. He has been limited in practice this week.
