The San Francisco 49ers have signed WR/KT Keshawn Martin to a two-year deal.
A fourth-round draft pick in 2012, Martin started his NFL career with the Houston Texans. He spent last season with New England after the Patriots traded a sixth-round pick for him in September. In 2015, he played in nine games and caught 24 passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns for the Patriots.
Over his career, Martin has 62 receptions for 685 yards and six touchdowns. He also has 2,822 total yards on kick and punt returns.
Martin's best season came in 2013 with Houston when he had 22 catches for 253 yards and two touchdowns. Martin played college football at Michigan State and takes the spot of retired OT Anthony Davis.

5 free agents the 49ers should sign or bring back

The San Francisco 49ers came within one play of winning Super Bowl LVIII. And even though they still have perhaps the best roster in football, they do have some holes to fill, especially with several scheduled free agents of their own.
