Apr 13, 2016 at 9:25 PM--

The Golden State Warriors are attacking history tonight as Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant plays his final game before calling it quits.

Who are San Francisco 49ers players watching tonight and cheering for? Below are some tweets from Niners leading up to and during the games, which are airing simultaneously on ESPN and ESPN2. A majority of players seem to have to have their eyes on Bryant's swan song in Los Angeles, but there are some going between the two games and keeping an eye on the Warriors.

49ers draft eight players: Rapid reactions

By Marc Adams
Apr 28

The San Francisco 49ers have completed their 2024 draft. They were able to fill some holes and grab some players who have a chance to make an impact. And there appeared to be a theme throughout the draft. The 49ers selected players who have played a lot of college football, so some of them should be ready to go sooner rather than later. They also went after guys who have stayed on the field, meaning they seem to be staying away from players with injury histories. It's hard to blame them for that. Perhaps the most shocking part of the 49ers draft is that they didn't take a defensive lineman. I thought they would draft a run-stuffing defensive tackle, and also an edge rusher. But they didn't. Here are my rapid reactions—my quick observations

Ian Rapoport sends clear message regarding 49ers' Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel

By David Bonilla
Apr 30

One thing is clear: Ian Rapoport expects Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel to be on the San Francisco 49ers roster when the team takes the field in Week 1 of the 2024 season. "Now, look, crazy things can happen," Rapoport continued. "Someone loses a star receiver, they decide to give the 49ers something of value for this

George Kittle's message to Brandon Aiyuk amid contract talks with 49ers: "Be patient"

By David Bonilla
Apr 25

George Kittle made his sentiments clear in a recent conversation about his teammate, wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. The tight end emphasized that he couldn't picture the San Francisco 49ers without Aiyuk and spoke highly of him in a discussion with Fox News Digital's Scott Thompson. Throughout the offseason, Kittle has had several conversations with Aiyuk and empathizes with his situation. Reflecting on his own contract negotiation in 2020 before reaching an agreement with the 49ers, Kittle offered his best advice to Aiyuk: "Hey, be patient." Kittle added, "It's just kind of the way the Niners do things. I didn't

Report: Several teams inquiring about 49ers' Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk

By David Bonilla
Apr 25

Brandon Aiyuk isn't the only San Francisco 49ers player being mentioned in trade chatter around the NFL. According to Michael Silver of the San Francisco Chronicle, several teams are also reaching out to inquire about the availability of wide receiver Deebo Samuel. "In the course of trade conversations about Brandon Aiyuk, numerous teams are inquiring about fellow 49ers WR Deebo Samuel's availability," Silver reports. "The 49ers would likely have to be blown away by the offer to make that move. Fluid situation, though." In the course of trade conversations about Brandon Aiyuk, numerous teams are inquiring about fellow
