49ers versus Chargers game will continue after earthquake strikes Bay Area

Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee is reporting that there has been no damage to Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara from the magnitude 6.1 earthquake that hit the Napa Valley region this morning. The game between the San Francisco 49ers and the San Diego Chargers, scheduled to begin at 1 PM Pacific, will continue.


Barrows also reports that 49ers crews have been walking around Levi's Stadium since 6 AM this morning and have reported no damage.

However, some fans may have a hard time getting there.

ACE is reporting that it will not have train service to Levi's Satdium for today's game. All train tracks must be inspected prior to train service continuing.

Caltrain service will continue.

The San Francisco 49ers announced the signing of wide receiver Trent Taylor to a one-year deal, reuniting with the team's former fifth-round draft pick out of Louisiana Tech.
