Fast clock . . . slow clock

I watched the Oakland game and I didn't notice anything about there being a fast clock, However, I did notice that when the 49ers were trying to run out the clock at the end of the game, whoever was running the clock was very, VERY slow to start the clock. On one 49er offensive play (a run) I could see the time remaining superimposed on the screen and the clock didn't start to run until way (ie. several seconds) after the ball was hiked. After reading what the 49ers players had to say about there being a "fast clock", I now think someone from Oakland was trying to help the raiders by running the clock fast or slow . . . whichever helped the raiders the most.
