Well, apparently the pedestrian was in the wrong. According to the state laws. Had Stallworth not beeped his horn, he would have gotten away with only DUI type charges.

Little killed someone and gets 90 days in jail, Plaxico Burress shoots himself and gets 2 years in jail.

Donte took full responsibility for his actions and was very remorseful. I gained respect for him by the way he handled it. It showed a lot about his character, IMO.
