I agree with being a huge Punk fan but unfortunately the vast majority of wrestling fans still prefer Cena to him. Even Rock with not being around for 7 years is still a bigger draw to fans than Punk is. Some guys can be built up to reach Hogan/Cena/Austin/Rock status. Some will be still be huge but never as big as those guys were. I put Punk in the Warrior/Savage/Hart/Michaels category.

lol don't ever put Warrior in any type of discussion, but I do understand far as Punk never being "The Guy".

kinda interesting the way you broke it down

from a pure wrestling perspective, the Michaels group is way better

from a pure entertainment perspective, the hogan group is a bit better.

For a few years there he was just as big as Hogan, he's one of very few to ever cleanly beat Hogan, for the title no less. He just didnt have the gimmick to last long, Plus he was batsh*t insane.

All of them had their time at the top. The Michaels group is better in ring minus Warrior plus Rock. The Rock is severely underrated in the ring. As much hate as Cena gets he can also put on a hell of a match. Austins run wasnt as long as the others because of his neck but he completely changed professional wrestling and so many wish it would return to the Attitude Era. DX may have started it, but Austin perfected it.

Goldberg also beat Hogan cleanly! Warrior was supposed to be the "next guy", but it just didn't work out... & he is kind of a head case. Then again ask any kid from the early 90s who their favorite wrestler was & many will say the Warrior.

Michaels probably is the best of all time, can't recall him ever having a bad match. I put guys like Jericho & Punk in that category too because they just are that good!

Was never the biggest HBK fan. He was a phenomenal performer and entertainer, I just thought he was a douche. Maybe because Bret is my favorite of all time.

Bret & Shawn changed the way I viewed wrestling. After watching Bret's matches....then later on in the card, Hogan's matches I was like damn. "Bret matches looked way more engaging."

No doubt, he is the excellence of execution.
Ive heard stories of him being a dick to some of the undercard guys though. Still I would watch just about any of his matches from 91 til he left for WCW over any others. Sadly when he got to WCW Bit*choff (and Goldberg) ruined him. The only match I liked of his there was against Benoit. He even said himself what a joke WCW was. Plus he legitimately hates Hogan and they tagged together a lot. Was awkward seeing him there.

So has anyone here played WWE 13? Is it worth getting? The reliving the Attitude Era sounds great.

Also I was unaware that Kevin Nash challenged The Warrior to an MMA match because Warrior was hating on Hok Hokan. That match will never happen even thought the Warrior is down to fight.

Also caught a glimpse of Cody Hall. Razors' son. Dude is Tall and almost huge. Still green but is only 21. Moves a little like his father but not there quite yet.

WWE officials are faced with two issues right now as far as The Rock winning the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble goes.

One is that The Rock winning the WWE Title will mean there are no WWE Title defenses at any live events for a three-month period.

They will also have towork outwith The Rock whether or not he will be available for theEliminationChamberpay-per-viewand whether they want him to work that event. Those details may have already beenworkedout as it was a topic largely talked about among some of the WWE talents this past week.

It's coming down to the wire in terms of needing to have a setplanand commitments to dates considering the hectic movie promotionscheduleRock has in early 2013.

I have a problem with the fact that WWE has a problem with going ONE WHOLE PPV without defending the WWE title. Once upon a great time, defending the championship was a very rare, and very big deal. In between, the buildup for these title matches was awesome, heightening the importance of the belt.

Right now WWE has the luxury of TWO World Championships they should be elevating the importance of. Why not randomize the months they and they only main event, without the other stealing the spotlight? Hell, even the undercard titles....the Intercontinental championship used to be a pretty big fn deal too once upon a time. Tag Title matches even main evented the attitude era.

Now, pretty much every belt feels just 'meh.' It's a huge reason why WWE is in the can right now. They used to do a great job like boxing did with building up these things, but now everything is rush rush and cram as much in as possible. They don't take the time to develop personalities to give us reasons to give a crap about the wrestlers. It had nothing to do with 'PG' or anything like that. It's just poor planning and poor writing that does not engage the audience at all.
