That's pretty s**tty for Jordyn Wieber. She was the favorite for all-around gymnastics gold and didn't qualify for the top 24 that compete even though she was 4th in qualifying. The new rule that limits it to 2 competitors from each country is stupid.

It's partly about national competition etc, but the olympics are really about individual excellence and just because 3 of the top 4 in the world are from the same country shouldn't mean that 1 gets kept out of the competition. She earned it over 20 other people that get in over her on a technicality, not because they're better. Lame.

seriously. these athletes lives' are just training every day for this moment. and to be not allowed to qualify because of a dumb rule like that is ridiculous
