They keep "dressage", bascially prancing about on horses.....yet get rid of baseball and softball

Maybe only hold sports popular with the US TV networks, perhaps rename the whole thing ESPN? BTW, I'm no dressage fan myself.

well, one of the big reasons they got rid of baseball for 2012 (and 2016...might come back at the earliest 2020) was the inability between IOC and WBA to agree on a standard doping test standard....hypocritical IMO considering the IOC's history of punishing athletes caught doping...
as far as "appeal" i don't care how "'regional" a sport is, (baseball to the americas and east asia, cricket to british commonwealth, etc) if its played by more than 5 nations it should be an olympic sport, and not these boring, aristocratic "sports" like dressage

i hate that nothing is live. now that i know the results of the swimming i dont even wanna watch it. they coulda had it live at 12 pm too, it was not a ridiculous time at all
