Kemp is overrated. Don't crown him bros.

He is good no doubt, but I don't think he is the best player in game today

When Matt Kemp hasn't been injured, he's also definitely up there, just not right this instant.

I agree completely. If you made this poll at the end of April Kemp would have won in my opinion. He was the best player in baseball last year and was off to an incredible start before he got hurt.

Yup, he's been out like a month and a half and still has more HR's than anyone on the Giants

So does Cody Ross

No question about that. And it isnt even close. HA! Seriously though, McCutchen is really putting it all together and have the kind of season that Matt Kemp had last year. Really cool to see .

Was already a very good player but made an adjustment to his timing in the offseason, result- MVP season. Hope they make the playoffs for the first time in 19 years.

Love McCutchen but I don't see the Pirates holding on. I don't believe in their pitching at all, and I think they will fade down the stretch. Look for them to go through an extended losing streak.

James McDonald has been beast all year. AJ Burnett has been good too. THey have one of the best closers in baseball. Not sure about there bullpen. But there pitching is pretty good. The strength of there team.

I dont see that. They have added Burnett and Bedard and the staff is much improved. I could also see them being buyers this year. Finally, I think going through their horrible 2nd half last year will help them.
