Police searched the home of Denver Nugget Chris Anderson today, confiscating his computer, hard drives and other evidences. Apparently, he has been under investigation for the past several months for sexual crimes against kids...

Someone claiming to be the woman's mother wrote in an email that "i (sic) want him to pay for everything on her Amazon wish list, 5K for her bedding stuff and her victoria secret wish list," according to the statement.



If someone's daughter was abused, who asks for payment of their amazon wish list, a bed set, and victoria secret wish list?

Like most stories involving abuse, it's best to wait and see. Typically, people tend to say "guilty" as soon as the accusation is made, and in many cases it simply isn't true.

This is SO effed up man, wow. When the allegations were made, everyone assumed that he was watching ten year old boys or something horrendous like that. This is an entirely different story. WTF? Context is really important

That's why people can't jump to conclusions. We have lost that. In the U.S. we go with "guilty until proven innocent." And even then people remember the original allegation and not the aquital.

Rich and famous people are subjected to this all the time. I would give more pause personally to stories like this of the rich. These are often shakedowns.

The messed up thing is that people will probably continue to refer to Chris Andersen as a perv or pedophille, because allegations ruin reputations even if they're compeltely false
