How many fans will the A's get for next season. I'm saying 1.7 million...

Have to take back what I said earlier - much as I hate the Yankees, I'd rather lose to them than a team that got lucky and didn't even deserve to be in the playoffs over two teams that had better records and far tougher schedules. We should've won this series in 4 games.

If not for errors it's a three game sweep. This was the only game Detroit legitimately beat the A's on their own.
With that said, I'm pulling for any AL team not named Detroit.

Hopefully, but he's such a freak I wouldn't be surprised if it made him stronger. Hitters are something like 9-90 against him after he's thrown 105 pitches.

Detroit won't go any further. I'm gonna laugh when they get swept by the Yankees/Orioloes

Great run by the A's, shame it couldnt continue. I thought they made decent contact off Verlander, just couldnt find the gaps.

I wonder how much ticket prices will rise. It won't be a significant amount but any rise in prices + larger fanbase =
Maybe they will be able to then keep at least one out of the potential five players they're planning on trading next season.

A good opponent I would give credit for beating us and probably wish them well, but these Tigers really are mediocre. Wasn't impressed with them at all. Even Cabrera was meh.

They won't rise at all, the fan base won't get any better
They'll go back to 10k - 15k in the stadium by the 2nd week of the season
All 5 of them will be traded

Agreed. Verlander and Scherzer were really the only guys that impressed me.

Ya the Tigers were mediocre. We just played s**tty defense
Should've won this series in the first 4 games
Oh well

This.
We stayed for 20 minutes after the game and chanted lets go Oakland. The crowd looked like we had won the game.
Giants fans left the game earlier in game 2. Lulz.
A's fans are more like 49ers fans than Giants fans.

Nice run Oakland.
I am glad you got knocked out - not trying to rub it in at all - just from a competetive stand point I did not like the Giants vs. A's matchup in a potential World Series.
A's had a helluva run.
Should be proud of this.
A lot of momentum going into next year.

Considering most 49ers fans are Giants fans, that makes no sense.
If the A's fans were better, they wouldnt have to close off the entire upper deck. They might also have the revenue to keep players. The Giants have the longest current sellout streak in the majors, and youre suggesting they dont have heart?

A's fans are so loyal thats why the franchise wants to leave Oakland.
