I get to see Manny down in Arizona in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to it, as he won't be available until June anyway.

Have fun in AZ jigga. I haven't been to spring training in 2 or 3 years. I hope to change all that next spring. Let us know how Manny looks as well as Cespedes.

Our starting rotation is so pathetic compared to last year
Brandon McCarthey
Bartolo Colon
Dallas Braden (still recovering from injury)
Tyson Ross
Graham Godfrey
Brett Anderson's still recovering from Tommy John surgery and isnt supposed to be back till late July
This is going to suck
at least it'll be great in 3 years

Ya but it sucks after looking forward to watching Cahill and Gio we gotta look forward to Brandon McCarthey and Bartolo Colon
Its all good though we have some great prospects in jarrod parker, ryan cook, Peacock and Sonny Gray. Can't wait till 2015 lol

Ya it's ways away. Hopefully Cespedes mashes this year and we win 75-80 games this year. That will be a success right there with all the youth.

Manny Another on the list of past-his-prime lets get some money out of Oakland old guys that signed with the A's.
Lets see Oakland A's retreads
Frank Thomas - Wow that actually worked!!
Mike Piazza - Straight Garbage. well I don't know about straight, but definitely garbage!
Nomar Garciaparra - No More Garbage-aparra
Jason Giambi the second time around on the downside of his career. - Sh*tty garbage
Hideki Matsui - Not quite garbage but LIGHT YEARS past his prime.
Manny Ramirez - Soon to be silly, happy and roided garbage.
And lets not forget the guy who we should have never signed to a long term contract
Eric Chavez - Kept him so long he transformed into garbage and then went to the Yankees. Oh brother!!
I'm not going to spend my money to watch hot garbage. I'd rather go watch the Giants, at least they're competitive!
I've been an A's fan 30 + years but this is pathetic.

Sizemore tore his ACL
Susan Slusser @susanslusserOne team official tells me Sizemore news "makes me want to vomit" but thinks that Donaldson could wind up being a great story.#Athletics
Susan Slusser @susanslusserBest wishes to Scott Sizemore and @BSIZEMORE29. #Athletics felt Sizemore was poised for breakout season.
Bob Mevlin:
"I really feel badly for Scott," manager Bob Melvin said in a release. "He's worked extremely hard and was ready for a breakout season this year. We were counting on him to provide some much-needed power from the right side of the plate. Now his total focus has to be on a successful surgery and rehabilitation so he can return stronger than ever.

From bad to worse, bro. Unbelievable what we as A's fans go through on a yearly basis. Ridiculous.

It sucks..a big part of rebuilding is obviously seeing what you have in your younger guys, he showed improvement throughout last year and now he tears hs ACL the first day of spring training
Oh well
