Too much stress and strain on the bones and joints. Bones and joints just aren't made for that.

the Yao joke at the ESPY's was pretty great.

"Yao Ming announced that he's retiring from basketball.....or thats hes retiling his bathroom, its really hard to say."

Too bad he couldn't stay healthy, most guys over 7'2" can't. He had the skills to be HOF material, but not the health.
