Rose is a completely different style. He's a scorer first and if he were an inch taller would essentially be Dwyane Wade and a shooting guard. Paul and Williams are more traditional point guards.
because of Paul's injury issues, i think its Williams now.

I think it depends what type of team you have. If I'm starting a team and building around him, I probably take Paul, but on the other hand, if the 2 and 3 aren't great shooters, I probably take Williams because of his better jump shot (though Paul has definitely improved here, esp. on his 3 ball).

Deron Williams does not have a better jump shot than Chris Paul.

Shots from 10-15 feet

Chris Paul..................42.3% (career low)
Deron Williams, Utah...38.2%
Deron Wiliams, NJ.......30.8%

Chris Paul has outshot Williams from this distance every year of their careers, by a good 10-15% on average.

Shots from 16-23 feet

Chris Paul..................45.0%
Deron Williams, Utah...45.0%
Deron Williams, NJ......29.0%

Paul's been better than Williams in this range since '09.

3 pointers

Chris Paul...................57.9% eFG
Deron Williams, Utah...51.9% eFG
Deron Williams, NJ.......40.7% eFG

While I do agree with the career averages, you can't really include Derons numbers from NJ, as he was playing with a wrist injury he sufferes while with the Jazz. He eventually opted to have season ending surgery. Again, I agree with the other numbers, but last year it was obvious he was hurt

CP3, but you can't go wrong with either. Having a chin puts him over the top though.

Ya, no doubt Williams wasn't his usual self this year. These figures overall for career are likely less in Chris Paul's favor. Paul is definitely the better playmaker, though.
