1: Billups
2: Fields
3: Melo
4: Amare
5: Brewer (part of trade)

Fine, switch Brewer with the 4 and put Amare at 5...shouldn't matter in a D'iantoni offense

Brewer is not a 4 either. Dude is like 6 foot 8 and 100 lbs. He is a 2/3. Mote of a 3. Do you even know who brewer is?

This is a solid move for the knicks: obviously not for this year, but upcoming years. If they sign someone like Perkins in the offseason...
PG Billups
SG Brewer
SF Melo
PF Amare
C Perkins
That's solid competition for Bulls and Heat once Celtics get old.

Yes I do, and do you know how D'antoni coaches? He run-and-guns and Brewer could play the 4 in his system. In a traditional sense, yes, he's built like a 3, but when you have Melo, you have to put your best players on the court, and since Curry is gone who else will fill the void at the 4/5 to pair with Amare? Not playing Brewer would be a bad thing b/c he's now one of their best players, not a rotational guy...

They need to win soon. Amare is approaching the wrong side of 30, and he came into the league out of high school, which means more miles on the odometer.

Corey Brewer is not a 4 in any system. He may start at the 2 position with landry fields coming off the bench or vice versa. Corey brewer is limited offensively. He is a solid defender but its crazy to think brewer would play the 4
