John Daly is -7 through 11. The dude is putting the ball anywhere he wants. It's absolutely amazing.

Tiger is -1 through 3, and just missed a 12 footer for birdie by coming up an inch short.

Leaderboard
Tiger -2 through 7. He's missed a few puts by a nuthair.
Rory McIlroy on -5 after 11, I see him as golf's next big thing.
Daly just ripped an enormous shot off the 17th tee!!!
Tiger -4 though 12. 4 back of the leader, McIlroy (15).
Stoney, are you watching this through the night? Midday here, 4am West Coast!

St Andrews is an awesome course
Play has been suspended once already, and they might oo it again, do to high winds. Once again, the early starters got in before it got crazy, but these guys can't even putt because the wind is so crazy.

Went to St Andrews about 18 months ago, stunning spot but seriously exposed to the elements.

I love watching the Open. St. Andrews is stunning.

How do Americans typically view The (British) Open, seeing as the other 3 majors are US based?
