This is the guy most everyone in the newly constructed front office agrees should be their No. 1 priority for the free-agent/trade season… when and if there is a free-agent/trade season. San Jose Mercury-News

Absolutely.

Problem is every other team in the league is saying the same. What can our Front Office "sell" to Nene that other teams aren't/can't?

Nene/Gasol/Jordan. We got three options.

Nene's the only dude of those 3 that might be leaving. I can't remember the last significant restricted free agent changed teams.

I hold some hope for Marc Gasol mainly because Memphis is cheap and may not be willing to match a big offer.

As for Jordan, I'm not sure how committed the Clips are to keeping him.

Players officially locked out...

I'm already in a bad mood but I just wanted to say f**k the owners and f**k the players or whose ever fault it is that's causing a lockout this season.

Greedy mother f**kers are already making millions of dollars, but these penny pinching a*****es are gonna screw US over as the fans over money.

what the f**k has society come to today where its all about the f**king money.

First football and now basketball. Just flat our pathetic and ridiculous.

I need to get wasted tonight

JERRY WEST INTERVIEW FROM TODAY
2nd podcast on the list, the only thing that bothers me in the interview is that he refers to the Warriors as THEY..........like he is not part of the franchise

He's a Laker. If he said "we" or "us", he'd be talking about them. And it's the reason he's apart of the GSW's. To try and bring some of that magic up north.
LOL. Monta is like a giant compared to Kevin Hart.

FWIW, yesterday I heard a couple of people mention that the Dubs are legit contenders for Nene whenever the lockout ends.

I think we'd be a legit playoff team with Nene in the lineup. Like a 4-8 seed for sure. I'd love adding him, but I don't think we have enough cap space right now to make that move. We have like 7 mil free right now, he's probably going to demand 11+ per year.
Just when we start heading in the right direction BAM lockout.

Edit: the warriors d-league team may be moving to San Jose. Anybody see this as a shrewd marketing move designed to keep another NBA team from moving to the south bay?
I'd heard rumors connecting ellison to the hornets and speculation he'd want to move them to sj.

Without running the risk of exposing my constant pessimism, but what exactly have we done that shows us heading in the right direction?
