Edwin almost walked in a run

Has there ever been a no-hitter where the pitcher walked in a run or two?

and his team only scored one run so think if he lost 2-1 and had a no-hitter

Id take Tampas lineup over ours anyday... hell might even take their SP as well.

They are arguably the best team in the league
I want roids back

yeah, TB's offense had NOTHING to do with it. all bad luck...

when you get no hit 3 times in one years time, TWO of them perfect games, maybe its you. clearly whatever tendencies they have make them alot more susceptible to being no hit. theyre a great offense, but they have proven their off nights are really off.

also, in a 9 inning game, the most BB in a no no was AJ Burnett with 9 against SD, but the most ever was a 10 inning no hitter by Jim Maloney in which he walked 10 in 1965.

Sure, the Rays had something to do with it, but still, pitchers don't have a lot of control of whether a ball goes straight to a fielder or is hit just out of reach. He only struck out 6, so a lot of balls where hit into play, it's pretty lucky that not one of them found a hole in the defense.

That's what I mean when I talk about luck, not some dumb luck like winning the lottery.
Sucks to be Tampas' hitting coach right about now.
