For whatever it is worth:

Is Posey ready? Resign Molina for a short term contract. if possible

Uribe at 3rd - Pabs at 1st - agreed. How is Uribe's arm?

I was totally wrong last year about Lewis. Too bad he couldn't catch a cold in the middle of winter.

Velez wears down too easily. How much does he weigh? I'd guess about 120 pounds.

For me the position Panda plays next year will depend on his belt size.

Giants runs scored rankings:

2005 - 29th

2006 - 24th

2007 - 29th

2008 - 29th

2009 - 26th

Thank God they both got extensions, this means we may actually be in the bottom 10% in runs scored again next year!!! WOOOO!!!

well we both know the reason they are coming back is because of the great pitching staff they have assembled!

Neither one deserved it. Bochy didn't do anything to warrant his extension, and neither did Sabean. It's not like Bochy willed this team to win 88 games . Everyone conveniently forgets that BOCHY is the one who told the team to be MORE AGGRESSIVE at the plate at their sit down meeting in July.
In case you guys haven't seen this:

Some videos of Wheeler pitching in an instruct game, he looks pretty good so far.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEGuXHGNPG0

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9aPfxuSYug

I read a little bit of literature from someone there and they said his fastball was clocking in the low to mid 90's and his offspeed stuff was a drastic change and batters were having a tough time with it.His delivery looks pretty compact and repeatable. He's a pretty big kid and could stand to fill out a little bit more also.

He is the highschooler right? If so, lets see how he does after a couple of seasons in the Minors.
