imma guess that sandoval is going to stay at teh 3 spot and let bay hit 4th. im all for this except i feel that its going to be a pretty hefty contract for him.

How good is this guy? I don't watch Red Sox games, and judging by those numbers, he doesn't look all that great.

I think Bay would do well here. Most of the time when we go shopping for a Bat the only thing that is considered is the previous season. Bay has performed for 6 years at a good level. Is he a 40hr guy, no. Is he a 20-25 hr guy, yes.

Just think if we had 4 guys with 20 hrs and 80 rbi we win the west easily.

Completely agree, we need someone who has the ability to hit 40-50 HRs everywhere else for them to have a chance at being good here.
