Hey James.. you still think Rasmus can win ROY? I dont think he has a chance in hell now. It has to be between J.A Happ and TOmmy Hansen now.

Your boy Carpenter might be the frontrunner now for CY award. I think its a 2 man race now between him and Lincecum.

Funny you mention this the night he hits a home run

But yeah, his slump lasted too long. It would've been nice to get the MVP, Cy Young, and ROY all in one year. But, its gonna be tough now.

Yeah, Carpenter is filthy. 15-3 now and has just been locking down everybody. MVP, Cy Young? I'll take it, but I want another ring.

I heard the reason that Smoltz was getting torched in Boston was because he was tipping his pitches. Chris Carpenter was the man who spotted it and what'ya know: Smoltz looks amazing in his Cardinals debut.
