I agree with ads. I know we destroyed those guys, but our wideouts are yet to get anything going. Riley's longest pass play was to Best. I know it was called back but still, you get the point. We're gonna need a decent passing game when we start facing the really good teams on the schedule. Talented teams will load up against the run and we'll be lost if our QB and WR's aren't dialed in.

I agree. Riley should have played better this week. Riley played much better last week, so this was a drop-off, and that is not a good sign.

When we face the better teams we are going to need both a solid passing and running game.

Highlights

I knew Cal couldn't be out of the top-25 for long. I think the beat down definitely helped them get in. They weren't given any chance of competing in the Pac-10 this year but I think they will definitely surprise. Im not saying they are going to go the season undefeated and win a national championship but just watch out. The offense is looking good. Riley is definitely the right choice as QB. Best is just killin it. Shane is a great threat too. I need to see more out of the WR but it is early and against WSU we didnt really need them to show up. The OL though they lost players have been huge keeping Riley up right and opening holes for Jahvid. On defense, Syd the Kid is a shut down corner who will be playing on Sundays. The LB core is experience and has great leadership. I would like to see a little more of a rush from the DL but so far so good.
