Screw it, we needed a thread to discuss all upcoming and past fights. Besides seems like we had a thread for every other fight. Upcoming fights of note: Joel Casamayor vs. Juan Manuel Marquez, September 13 Shane Mosley vs. Ricardo Mayorga, September 27 Kelly Pavlik vs. Bernard Hopkins October 18 Joe Calzaghe vs. Roy Jones Jr November 8 Ricky Hatton vs. Paulie Malignaggi, November 22 And of Course December 6, De La Hoya vs ???????

Very good second fight. All kinds of dirty fighting and both men fought great. Direll needs a little fine tuning and he will be okay. He should have been more aggressive earlier in the fight.

I only saw the Taylor fight. I think it is time for him to hang it up. He just isn't the same fighter. I really don't think that German guy is that good. A better fighter would capitalize on his mistakes i.e. lowering his hands.

Yea Taylor kept jabbing but really nothing else he could do to the tank he was fighting. I still like his style though. I'll give him one more chance before I give up on his skills.

Dude make sure you watch the 2nd fight. Hell it may be on now. Lots of good ol fashioned action.

Taylor is a cool dude, I love his style, but being around AR I think he just got too many things going on. From being a local clebrity to being accused, I feel that he is still able physically,but his mind and is heart is just not in to boxing anymore.

Heads up. My cousin in law will be fighting tommorow at the four points Sheraton hotel in San Diego. His name is Christopher Martin and he will be in the main event. For those who can make it it will be a good fight card. Doors open at 6pm with the first punch thrown at 7:30pm.
