That was the best fight of the night. Lopez was sacrifised to alvarez, just as expected. Hopefully that kid could bounce back and get some more opportunities at 140 or 147.

Besides his broken left hand, Martinez also tore ligaments in his right knee when he was knocked down by Chavez Jr. in the 12th round. Martinez also suffered a cut over his left eye. All of these things will keep a rematch between Chavez Jr. and Martinez from taking place until next year sometime at the Cowboys Stadium in Texas.

I heard about the broken hand but i didn't know about everything else. Martinez tougher than a $2 steak.

Not jelly. I just wonder if this 50/Mayweather "rift" is even real u know? Boxing seems so corrupt and I can't help but wonder if 50 is sincere about this partnership.

Hell yea it was. I know Maidana is known to be a dirty fighter, but I was rooting for him to KO Soto-Karass. For some reason, SK was getting on my nerves.
