Carl Froch vs. J. Taylor was classic. The guy on the under card will probably be a champion sooner than later. 168 seems to have more of the better fighters right now.
Showtime has the super middle weight event coming up but did not invite
Allan Green (28-1, 20 KOs)
All this guy does is when. He was supposed to loose to De Leon on the under card of Froch and Taylor but he dominated and ended up knocking out the younger guy in the second round.
With this guy's record you would think he would eventually get a title shot or even crack the top 5 in somebody's rankings.

i seen a lot more from diaz than hatton. Diaz is a good fighter and lost to 2 great fighters but also landed some good punches.

Well that wasn't worth watching. Ward socked up that fool a few times in the first, then knocked the ish out of him in the 2nd sending him to the mat. He got up, but had nothing. Ward was just beating on him, waiting for the ref to stop it. Then he socked him a few more times, turned to the ref and said/motioned for him to get in there and stop it. The ref took his cue and obliged.

I want to see Chavez Jr. Fight someone worth fighting. He IMO will get beat, not because the other fighter is better but because chavez jr. doesn't prepare well at all for fights. He has a lot of talent but no stamina. Dude has pop, and great technique but can only throw about one combination per round before he gets tired.

so at the end of Sportscenter, Brian Kenny says that Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr. will fight in early 2010.....16 year wait for a rematch.
As a big Hopkins fan, I've been waiting for this fight forever. Even in their primes, I'd pick Jones to win a UD, but Hopkins will easily counterpunch Jones today because speed is something you lose as you age.
Still I hope this isn't on PPV.

So did anyone watch the Super 6 tourneyment? Pretty good stuff. Taylor got popped by that boring German dude.
Very good second fight. All kinds of dirty fighting and both men fought great. Direll needs a little fine tuning and he will be okay. He should have been more aggressive earlier in the fight.

I only saw the Taylor fight. I think it is time for him to hang it up. He just isn't the same fighter. I really don't think that German guy is that good. A better fighter would capitalize on his mistakes i.e. lowering his hands.
