Vazquez vs Prescott on ESPN is a pretty good fight.

Prescott is undefeated and Vazquez keeps on coming.

Vazquez the underdog is winning through the 8th

Vazquez won that ish.

I didn't know Vazquez trains with Margarito.

He was knocked down twice and won the fight.

I just seen the fight on TIVo it was a good one, lots of underdogs winning in boxing lately.
yeah, makes me wanna put money on Marquez........maybe.

You know what? I was thinking the same thing...I regret picking Magarito vs Mosely.

ah

I don't even want to talk about that one.

Margarito broke my heart f*kin up like that.

I've been following him ever since he called out Floyd and Floyd ducked him.

Same here, I was pumped after he destroyed Cotto and then Mosley returned the favor...go figure...

I don't think he will be back. There was talk of having him fight in TJ were he is not suspended, but with the scandal it was not recieved positively. There has been problems between him and his trainer over this. Even if he comes back he has tarnished his reputation. And at 30+ years of age, it will be hard for him to regain his career status.

Heads up. My cousin in law will be fighting on July 31st at the Pechanga Casino. His name is Chris Martin and he will fighting against an also undefeated fighter from TJ. It will be televized on Showtime under the ShoBox next generation series. Tickets start at $50 dollars to those that will like to attend.

Update. My retarded cousin in law will not be fighting on this card after all. He desided to celebrate his birthday this Monday since he couldn't celebrate his actual b-day on the 5th due to training. He went out, had a little too much to drink and got into a fight. Somehow in the process of getting his a$$ beat he dislocated his shoulder. He is still young and imature and since winning the California state title, he has been a little cocky. I hope this wakes him up if he desides to have a career in boxing. I v'e been trying to get him to come up and train at my gym but his dad and brother want to develop him a little slower. Sometimes I don't know what he is thinking.

I know. We were giving him hell for that one. His shoulder still looks pretty bad. Hopefully it doesn't affect his career ala Alex Smith.

Never good to hear something like that.

R.I.P. to him.
Bradley calls Pacquaio Poster Boy, not even the best fighter in the division

Very interesting to note...Valero/Soto lightweight titlefight MIGHT be on the Pacman Cotto undercard. That one should be a helluva fight.

Paul Williams/Kelly Pavlik negotiations back on
As much as I love Paul Williams, he isn't ready to face Pavlik at 160. He's never fought anyone who punches as hard and will fall via KO in the late rounds or lose a UD by 4-5 rounds.

Pacquiao a -215 favorite to fight Cotto? Cotto at +175? WTF. Expect the numbers to fall down towards -160 to -175 for Pac. There's no way in hell he should be that heavy of a favorite. That being said, there's extreme value in throwing down in Cotto right now. So if you're going to bet with the borricua, bet it now because I highly doubt you'll get juicier odds.

Pac's camp rumored to be putting a request for a $1M fine PER POUND above the limit at the weigh-in.

Sergio Mora was supposed to fight Pavlik, but talks died down.

I guess Williams is why.

Pavlik would lose.

as for Cotto, I doubt he beats pac, but you never know.

I'll be surprised if he does.

Another fighter dies!

Francisco Moncivais died due to injuries sustained during a four round fight on Saturday night in Bay St Louis MS. It has been a rough couple of months for the sweet science. RIP

oh snaps

I hope he's in shape.

If he beats Klitch, it would be awesome.

Dunno though.

Arreola looks like he has some kinks to work out before he's championship material.

Mostly his conditioning.
