No one outside the Webzone cares about 2012.

Rattling off useless stats that mean nothing.

Kaep has more playoff road wins than Joe, Steve, Alex and Garcia. I can rattle off stats too. Elway seems to want Kaep so there's that. So does Hue.

IN the offense scheme the merit goes all for Bill Walsh.

The problem here is that Kap doesn 't really know how to play QB in NFL no matter how people insist to bring the 2011/2012 playoffs to the conversations
He is far to be a solid QB because he dont have actually solid QB skills(solid QB skills isn't throw a football 60+mph, running the ball like a Tailback)

Just a reminder Kap had a defense for 2 years that Steve Young and Montana never had. They had to do job themselves.

Oh? How was that D in the playoffs? If I remember correctly, Steve and Joe never had a D give up as many points as the 9er D did under Kaep and won. That said, last time I checked, Kaep never got to play with the offensive talent that Joe and Steve did. Never got to play within a cheme tailored to him or the level of coaching Joe and Steve ever had.

More tired talking points from a Kaep hater.

Evidently I missed the games Joe and Steve won in the playoffs when the D was giving up 25+ points/game. Also missed all the Scrubs they played with on offense and the HOF talent Kaep played with.
Weren't you warned to stop calling people haters? I got warned to stop calling people "Kap fans" and stopped.

If you don't like Kap, and want him traded, then it's suffice to say that you're a Kap hater, no?
The way the word "hater" is thrown around and the people who use it makes it imply I have an irrational reason to want him gone. There are plenty of rational ones to want to send him packing. Why anyone is still optimistic that he can be productive again is beyond me, 5 years in the NFL and his scouting report reads the same as when he was drafted. Of the recent dual threat QBs Wilson and Newton improved their skill set Kaepernick and RG3 didn't and we see the results of that.

BobS: Some on here like me and you can understand it I guess in my case it comes with age. The old saying goes "You can explain it to some but you can't understand it for them." In other words Beating a Dead Horse. Gabbert beat him out but in some people's view he didn't, has funny has that sounds. In my opinion if Kaep is retained it will be bad juju, Kaep does not want to be here let him go.

Counterpoint... players can improve with better coaching, just like Alex did.

You either still believe or you don't. You either want to see Chip work with Kap or you don't. It's that simple. Put the believers in one pile, put the non-believers in another pile.

It's that simple.

With has much has he regressed in the last two years I just don't see it, Kaep needs a strong D to back him up. He will be a QB that not much will be asked of if he goes to Denver or lets say a "game manager." (I know those two words bring back memories.) I just don't want to believe I feel the org. will be better off with a mutual parting.

Can Gabbert beat out a healthy Kaep? I think not. Since when does a player with 3 injuries getting shut down = get beaten out. I guess Kaep beat out Alex when he had that concussion.

Gabbert won't even beat out Thad.

Yes I think he can to me it all comes down to mechanics and what is between the ears. Game intelligence=Gabbert.

Gabbert beat out Kaepernick, so what does that make Kap? I can't wait for your answer.

And Kaep beat out Alex....what does that make your boy? The guy that got beat out by JT O'Sullivan, Sean Hill and Troy Smith.

I can play this dumb game all day long.

I can be even more disingenuous than you can.

Well if they think that much of him they should have no problem paying him the money he is asking. Plus if they wanted him that bad he would be gone already.

None of that translates onto the field.

If he is that great of a player then why is it when a 49er leaves to play for someone else, they throw him under the bus? Crabtree etc.

Am I talking to a person or a robot? Come on man you know better than that. You sound like the "Lost in Space Robot" "Does Not Compute, Does Not Compute."

And if Gabbert was so great they would have inquired about him instead of Kaep. I can do this all day.

If Gabbert was really that good, a team would have tried to trade for him, not Kap.

I guess Harbaugh is a bad coach too since he has had players take shots at him.

How does it not make any sense?

If Gabbert was that great, why haven't the Broncos or any team for that matte traded for him? He makes $2M and according to WZ just needs good coaching. He has excellent mechanics, high football IQ and a better version of Alex Smith. Why hasn't any team inquired about him? Why isn't his name being thrown around?

As I said, I can play this stupid game.
Every QB goes through ups and downs. Joe was benched by Coach Walsh, and was traded later. For Kap the question is, can he come back? Has he been "figured out" by opposing defensive coordinators? Can he become a better QB. Everybody has an opinion. If he can do it on the field that will answer all questions. If he can't he could still make a great living as a backup for the next 8-10 years.

No he was why Kaep played has well has he did in a three year span. Then in the 4th year when they tried to put more in the playbook and let him play a little more from the pocket he played like a scud missile he missed his target.
