I feel like we just became the Raiders. Once respected organization and now the laughing stalk of the league in a blink of an eye! I like JT but not as a HC! This stinks! F$#k you Baalke & Jed!

Thank you! The only sane comment in this entire thread.

after Tomsula took over for Sing....
He came across as a blue-collar everyman, a man of the people who probably wasn't the man to lead an NFL team on full-time basis. His players, however, blew his cover, noting he was doing plenty of teaching to a 5-10 team that beat Arizona, 38-7, with him in charge.
"(The season) was defined by mental mistakes," Jean Francois said after the 2010 finale. "Not being prepared for certain situations. When situations happened, I felt like we weren't prepared for that moment and it slipped out of our hands.
"This week of practice, with Tomsula, it was like we were preparing for every situation: four minutes, two minutes. What happens when it's 3rd-and-1? What happens when we're backed up in the end zone? He worked on every different situation so that when we got in the game it didn't feel brand new."
That was for ONE GAME

I love the move. Continuity is the key. Him or Fangio would have been my pick. Best shot at Super Bowl 50.

What HC and Coordinator experience at any level did Singletary ever have? Tomsula had success preparing our players to go out and win the year we ousted Singletary, and he had his guys prepared to play in NFL Europe. He is a proven player developer, leader, and teacher with a winning track record.
Tomsula was a defensive coordinator for the #1 defense and World Bowl Champions, and also was a winner as a HC the following year. He deserves a chance. He's has experience at all levels, not just DL coach.

WTF are you talking about. Tomsula is a D line coach. How do you know he is a leader? How do you know Fangio is not? We don't need a rah rah leader, etc. We had that in Singletary. We need a guy who knows X's and O's like Fangio clearly does.

Jeff Deeney @PFF_Jeff Baalke has become the Billy Beane of the #49ers, he's put in place a head coach that he can control and is in line with his philosophies.

Yep. MM on phone call with NFL Network just said that Fangio will be gone for being overlooked AND 49ers HO is looking within the Raiders organization for DCs.
