It's the perfect storm, last two meetings have been in their house, they're coming to us, riding off of a short week with #1 power ranking spots, and the media all over their nuts. -I've also noticed a trend that teams which are usually ranked #1 on ESPN struggle when pit up against a .500 team the following week.

Also, not really impressed with their work on the road, sure they're finally winning on the road, but they have yet to defeat a .500 team on the road (looks like we both have something in common), and the only team at .500 they've faced on the road thus far was the Colts (which ended in a loss).

This is gonna be a level game, Hawks fans wanna be cocky, but they know damn well this game will be decided by a FG. It'll take 20 points to win this game, I guarantee it.
They beat Carolina (over .500) in Week 1 on the road as well, but I like your points overall.

We could easily be 10-2 (Panthers-Colts Ls) as much as they could easily be 8-4 (Panthers-Texans-Bucs Ws)

I feel these two teams are evenly matched overall, and home field will be to our advantage this weekend!

If the 49ers stop Lynch they have a good shot. If he starts carrying guys for 6 and 7 yards on first down it opens up play fakes for Wilson. I've watched all the Seahawks games this year and on 2nd or 3rd and long they run the ball and get positive yardage. If the 49ers open up a nice lead and force Wilson to stay in the pocket they win.

The funny thing about Wilson I noticed during MNF is that Wilson's only successful because his o-line is making throwing lanes for him so that he never has to scan the field directly behind the pocket (post-traditional-snap), due to his size limitations.

When Russell sees those lanes clogged (cause even I'll admit, he's adequate at reading defenses), he'll either just extend his drop, or runs off the edge to ease DEs/CBs out of zone reads. Wilson throws those 'rainbows', but people fail to notice that he only completes a pass for over 20+ yards maybe twice a game (his stats are padded with 6-7 yard completions, compensated by 3rd & 2 Lynch conversions).

Their offense is balanced, and that's why they're getting it done, plain and simple. If Marshawn Lynch wasn't on this team, Russell Wilson would be struggling just as bad as Kap, except Wilson's problems wouldn't be easy to fix given his height.

I bet you % wise, across the board every teams averages about the same amount of guys "cheating".

Now if you want to hate a player because you think he's a d!ck that's another story, but don't be so sanctimonious that you think your team is morally better than any other team.

They can't say but it usually gets out. And again to claim Seattle is good because they cheat while no one else does is silly and flat out wrong. they are a talented team. You can hate them, root against them etc. but if being intellectually honest you would admit they are a very talented team just like your 49ers.

Also different punishment for different substances so when a punishment is given out you can usually figure out which substance was taken. thats why guys like John Clayton say they have a pretty good idea what it was when reporting it.

Panthers aren't the same team now that they were in week 1. So much of the NFL is based on when you play opponents. Some years you catch teams at the right time, sometimes you don't. Injuries also play into that a lot.

Our run d has been pretty stingy these last few weeks and even in that week 2 embarrassment Lynch only averaged 3.5. At home, with Dorsey, and them on the short week, I think the d will handle him. I just hope we do a better job pressuring and containing Wilson. If we lose, it'll be because of him making things happen.

Neither are the Hawks
(Or most teams, for that matter)

Nope, only Seahawks players. Sorry, try again.

According to the internet, he's completed passes for 20+ yards on 41 occasions (~20% of all completions) in 2013 over 12 games with an average Y/C of 32.3 for 1,323yds and 6 TDs.

He's ranked 2nd in the entire league in Y/A (8.8) and 3rd in Y/C (13.5). Must be some serious padding of 6-7 yard completions.

How so? I was intrigued by the post. Decided to actually look it up because I'd not heard THAT claim made before. Of course you didn't bother to look it up before using it as a pillar in your criticism.

Can't argue about his vision behind the line because I'm sure it's an issue. As you said (and it's been called out before), he creates space by dropping back a bit until he sees what he needs or he squirts out the side. He's thrown plenty from the pocket when he has time and he's accurate as hell so I don't buy what you're selling but you had some legitimate observations mingled into your post.
