In previous years, Andy Lee was our only sure shot pro bowler. Nowadays it seems we arguably have the most stacked roster in the league. So who are the best in this roster?
I'll go first!
1. Kaepernick
2. Justin Smith
3. Navorro Bowman
4. Aldon Smith
5. Patrick Willis
6. Michael Crabtree
7. Frank Gore
8. Anthony Davis
9. Vernon Davis
10. Bruce Miller
Who makes your list?!...ready, set, go...

Something like that, but take out Bruce Miller & put in Hunter/James (yes, both of em) or Ahmad Brooks.

Well, first off....the niners have the most stacked roster (pre injury) in the league and THAT'S A FACT.
Now, are you ranking players from 1-10 on who's the best? If so, I don't think Colin is the best player on the team. (most imp. but not best)
My list is as follows
Patrick Wills
Aldon Smith
Justin Smith
Navarro Bowman
Frank Gore
Mike Iupati
Andy Lee
Michael Crabtree
Anthony Davis
Joe Staley

If Kaep is not #1 on your list yet, he will be after this season.

I love Kap but having Pat not be the lock #1 is pushing it. The guy has delivered with bad coaching and sub par effort and talent around him. Kap is the newcomer but Willis has made pro bowls every year (pretty sure maybe 1 year missed) with no real support. Pat is the best player on our team easily and has been for the last half a decade.

You make a really good argument. But if I'm building a team and I had first pick, I wouldn't even think of Willis. I mean I love the man to death, but superstar QB trumps any linebacker... all day, everyday!

In regards to Gore, I would agree if we're talking about historical value, Gore holds a lot of weight (so does Willis) but I'm basing it almost purely on level of performance. We all know Gore has...(im gonna say it)...lost a step. dont roast me!

Fair enough.
But here's something to think about....if you had to remove 1 of those players mentioned above from the team, which would have the biggest impact?!?! I say Kaep. Without him this team is like a Lamborghini without a real driver.
