Darryl Morris (2013 UDFA CB)

Darryl Morris- CB - Texas State

This is an interesting signing and a player that I think has a chance to make the team if he can show the ability to field punts in training camp. While he's very small, he's extremely fast (4.33 40 -- and as low as 4.29 recorded) and has a nice bit of highlight reel.

• 4:15 shows incredible speed (one of the most impressive plays I've seen. Couldn't actually believe it)

Hoping him and/or Marcus Cooper are diamonds in the rough. Would love to have a quick slot corner to guard the tavon austins, harvins, cobbs, amendolas, etc. Can't wait until camp to see the competition! Let the best corners win! Hopefully we come out with a guy that can guard all those shifty little s**ts.

Cooper would be a good corner to match up with the big fast wideout, while morris could match up against quick slot guys. Would love if one or both of them pan out and become ballers!

As long as one of the CB's pushes Brock off the roster Ill be happy.

Well it would be nice to get someone who could run with slot receivers and knew how to play the ball. Then if he had PR skills as well and STs also he would be our kind of player.

The second I saw this pickup I said, "Slot CB to match up with Harvin and Austin."

Wow, dude had ZERO hesitation and incredible closing speed and for his size, isn't afraid to hit through WR's.

Yup, that part really impressed me. The angle, anticipation, hustle, and speed.

Watched the whole thing... ... dude tackles and plays the ball well for a "lil dude".. really looks like a keeper.

Nice video. Hopefully he can show some punt return duty also.

Not something he's done, but he's got the speed and if he takes the types of angels on punt returns as he does on defense, then he should be very successful .. but can he catch?
