That guy could flat out sing.
AND he was a hell of a performer on stage.
As far as Baalke and that article. MAN - that guy doesn't give other teams a clue about anything!
That whole article is like driving in neutral - if basically says nothing. I love it!

"There are players capable of stepping in and starting in this draft," Baalke said of safety prospects. "Do we feel it's a necessity to do that? I say no. We feel very comfortable with the players we have. Is it an area we'd like to add depth and more competition, it certainly is."
- Charles Woodson, one of the first free agents the 49ers hosted, remains both unsigned and on the 49ers' radar. Said Baalke: "We feel he can still play this game. We'll continue to look at that and see how the draft goes. Charles is certainly somebody we're still interested in."
Sounds like they will try to find a starting FS in the draft. If it doesn't turn out the way they wanted, then they sign Woodson.

It could just be a smokescreen but Baalke has talked extensively about not wanting to throw rookies into starting roles, to draft ahead of needs so that groomed replacements are in the wings waiting...
Maybe we don't draft Safety, DL or TE like everyone says. Maybe spillman, robinson, Ian williams, Dorsey, Celek and the new TE, are our new starters. Maybe they're ready. Baalke would know better than us. I think we surprise by doing OLB, CB and WR early

The Alex Boone lesson rings loudly. Everyone thought we needed to draft an OG in the first two rounds, and it turned out there was a PB caliber OG on the roster.
