Probably less money than NO offer, but SF has a MUCH better defense, especially front seven that will make him look like his old self again in coverage. Then, if he puts up #s like Carlos Rogers did after he first signed, he'll get an extension with us or ask for more $$$$ in FA. Probably wants to retire in SF and have the option of rebuilding his reputation.

1) We have no idea how good he'll be. 1 year deal is the best option.
2) If he does play well he'll want to stay in the area because he's already tried jumping teams for more money.
