With Teddy Ginn signing with the Panthers, who becomes our new punt returner??? After putting the NY Giants Chapionship game behind him, Kyle Williams did a nice job as their punt returner when Ginn was hurt. I wouldn't mind if Kyle Williams took over the job. Any late round return talent in the draft?

I'd be a bit worried if LMJ takes over for punts, unless he does some serious work on ball security in the offseason. He's solid at kickoffs when he can get vision of the whole field from the get-go, but he put the ball on the ground far too often last season, even if he was down by contact a couple of them. Hopefully Kyle Williams takes over.
All in all I love LMJ, but he needs to be more careful with the ball and get stronger hands.

if the season began today kyle can do the job and cox is a good backup. i have a feeling that james will bust his butt on this area in the off season and could be a pleasant surprise. again i think we can not discount marlon the wide out special teams guy we got from miami. if the team keeps six wide outs, his ability to play good special teams and maybe do punts will be a plus for him and for us... that is not even taking into account the team could sign someone who can do this in the draft. really, after last year, cept for one punt return in the super bowl, does anyone remember any positive thing ginn ever dd? we got out fourth round draft choice worth out of him, good bye,

Wouldn't mind picking up a corner who can return punts (who is actually good enough to make a solid contribution on defense). Jonathan Banks, Robert Alford, Jordan Poyer and the Honey Badger all fall under this category.
Having a "return specialist" is a waste of a roster spot at this point IMO.

Honey Badger....5th in the nation in punt return average in 2011, and solid nickel corner.
