Derrick Hamilton, PJ Fleck, Marcus Maxwell mentioned above, that really skinny dude out of Baylor...

Ziegler. Lol i actually liked ziegler, but knew by looking at his frame he wouldnt amount to much.

Ziegler actually made some plays.

Ziegler had great hands. His frame was just too small. He was a tall twig waiting to get snapped.
The rocket Lockette was in one of my mock drafts the year he came out
Only played one year in college iirc
Super super Raw! Has the body but the question now is the same it was then, is this track star a football player?
The fact that he's still in the nfl says he's at least working hard on improving

there's some rumors about Lockette and high testosterone levels (steroids) before in college.

Probably for the same reason we as a fan base find an early draft pick and have to hate him.....

Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!
"I'm really looking forward to Ricardo Lockette's progress," Harbaugh said Wednesday morning at the NFL owners meetings. "I can't wait to see what he does. A real inflection point for him is coming."

"I'm sure there's things I can specifically name, but there's just something about him that I'm really fired up about," Harbaugh said. "He's got something else to him, too, besides just the analytical size, strength, speed. There's something special there. I just feel it."

Ricardo Lockette combines 4.37 40 speed with a 6-foot-2, 215-pound frame.

I like it. If he can put all the nuances of being a receiver down, with his size, speed and strength, he could really ad an explosive element to this offense.

I don't think he's ever pumped CK up that much! Wow!
hey man, I was on the Lockette bandwagon waaaaay before Harbaugh ... I bet he finally found out how Lockette has 96 speed on Madden.

I start him on the right side...he has taken Randy spot.
I was looking for this thread earlier today. Ever since I heard he was going to start training with Kaep, I thought he was going to be a key element in this offense.
Anyone feel like Harbaugh throwing all this extra praise at Lockette to light a fire under both Ricardo and Aj Jenkins to compete hard for the spot?

Also.....collateral damage is a suck my dck to pete carroll about the player who left him (if he becomes a good player)

Yes! Great payback for Doug Baldwin, but taller and faster. If things work out, Baldwin is a free agent next season and they can't pay him so he's gone. Meanwhile, Lockette is a deep threat that will be a burr in Carroll's butt for years.
