but this wasn't supposed to be a fade, he threw it up because the rusher got to him. Moss cut inside and was open.

the ball sailing on him would mean the throw was high but in Moss' direction. This wasn't. That was either a back shoulder or fade attempt, but more importantly miscommunication between him and Moss who obviously broke to the inside. The point remains, and I'm including all previous games, the man could not throw a fade this season

No, he just threw it because he didn't have time for the play to develop because Gore missed the block.
