Ahmad Brooks salary has decreased from $4.3M to $2.7M
Tarell Brown, for some reason has increased from $940K all the way to $2.925M
Donte Whitner hit an escalator for an extra $100K to $3.85M
All those are base salaries.

Brooks signed a deal with pretty aggressive accelerators. It appears he did not hit the sack numbers, so the pay for production contract was reduced. Whitner probably hit his pro bowl escalator for a cool 100K.

Does Kap hit any escalators? or are all rookie contracts base only?

Good question. I thought rookie contracts are mostly guaranteed.
AB, can rookie contracts have escalators with the new rules?

A 2nd round QB will not have any escalators built into the contract most likely. It may be there for a top pick, but not a 2nd rounder.

The only ones would be the last season of contract, usually up to RFA offer amount that year, or $1.323M for 2013. 1st rounders don't get that anymore, use to back with old CBA. Some new escalators are here, http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/browns-quarterback-colt-mccoy-added-1-75-million-194838554--nfl.html
Whitner's was his pro bowl selection, unsure of Brown's, and I know why Brooks'.
