Will the Niners run an offensive trick play during the Superbowl?

We win the coin toss, defer, and on-side kick it.

How many did they actually run this season? Trick plays really aren't a big part of football because they require something that is a precious commodity: time. Practice time is usually spent on working on plays that you know you will actually use. I'm not saying that teams don't have them but in many cases its seeing something your opponent does on film that you can use your trick play to take advantage of. Case in point: the fake punt against New England. Something was seen on film. It make have been something as simple as where the gunner lined up. What you look for is a consistent pattern of action that you can attack with your play and you usually only use it if you need it. Not just for shizz and giggles.
