I think they will put Alex and CK in on a play. I would like to see Alex take a snap in the SB.

Alex himself isn't the secret weapon in such a package. I could see Alex and Kaepernick running the option, where the thought is that the Ravens would key in on Kaepernick, freeing up Alex to get decent yardage, or pass the ball.

I personally think it'd be cool, but I'd be scared to do it. Conceivably, both your QBs are on the field at the same time, running an offense where defenders can get a good shot on the QB.

As cool as it sounds, I really doubt it happens. We have enough dynamic players to create something tricky, actually, the Pistol itself is essentially a trick play. So to put Alex in, would be digging REAL deep into the trick bag.

I think they do a flea flicker out of the pistlol.

Alex Smith in the pistol, Kaep behind him, diamond formation with Gore and Miller. Alex hands off to Kaep, who pitches it back, TD 45 yards to Moss.
