Why didnt you tell me that a week ago?...noooooo you guys gave me the buisness. How Old the Ravens were.....How Kaep was going to run all over us. I got so much flack and now you want me to leave. No one asked me to leave then.

Okay, I'll bite.

The Niners played a terrible first half. Chris Culliver was obviously out of his head, and it showed on the field. The back end of our D looked bad, and most of that is on Chris.

Now, putz...we'll get to why most Niner fans are livid with the officiating. A Raven (Williams, #29) shoved an official...and didn't draw a flag. The rule book says he should have been ejected. Ray Lewis PUNCHED Delanie Walker after the whistle...no flag. On Jacoby Jones' record setting return, he raced right through Bruce Miller's lane...while Miller was being held by two Ravens...4 fist gulls of jersey, no flag.

But the killer is this: Chris Culliver is flagged for PI on a play where he did largely the same thing that Jimmy Smith did to Crabtree.the only difference? Culliver was turned and looking for the ball. Smith just grabbed Crabtree's jersey and wouldn't let go.

Are we frustrated? You bet. Did our team miss a BOATLOAD of opportunities? Absolutely. Are you being a completely classless troll right now? You bet.

When your team loses over half of its 22 pending free agents, falls to pieces, and self destructs, I will laugh myself silly. And when I do, I'll have comfort in the fact that you'll likely be hiding in the corner of your mom's basement in a Stabby McOnearm jersey, fapping to this years Super Bowl highlights.

Beat it, scrub.

I think if you and I ever watched a game together, the planet would explode.

I agree amigo. It would tear a hole in the space/time continuum.

If you, me and Corey watched a game together, the atmosphere would ignite.

If you, Stacey, me and Corey watched a game together, it would create a singularity that would engulf all opposing fans, whisking them off to another dimension.

We gotta make this happen bro

So, if I understand you correctly, we all will be seeing each other about this time next year in NJ?

We need to make it out to Candlestick one more time, hopefully with a better result than our last visit, Jim's lucky shorts and all.

Even though I'm still VERY new to WZ, I will be attending a 49ers game at the 'Stick next year. I HAVE TO, since I've never been able to attend a 49ers game there. When I did live in SF (88-89-90) I couldn't afford/find a ticket. Not an issue now Maybe I'll get the opportunity to meet a few of you fine folks there.
Hey guys.. Just wanted to say great game and apologize for the trolls that make us look bad. You came back at the end (as I knew you would) and almost won it all. As a die hard raven fan, I'm still in disbelief. I didn't expect to beat denver and certainly not the pats because, we'll, flacco is always pretty inconsistent and doesn't extend the play very well--a nightmare matchup for us vs your defense. Many of my friends were pretty confident we would at least be able to make it a good game but I was worried. It was pretty obvious by the second quarter that they weren't going to throw many flags on either team and I actually read later that goodell wanted a group of refs that would let the players play. I think this affected the outcome for sure, but I'm proud of our coaches for calling a great game and for our guys for hanging tough and executing against the best dst in the NFL.

I have so much respect for the 49ers (my second fav NFC team)...you are badass and such a great young and talented group.

Much luck next year!!

thanks man.

Not many of your fans showed up before the game but after the game started trolling hard.

Most wanted to hear the Ravens were a better team, and when they didn't see that, just started talking s**t. Ravens are a good team and we know it would be hard. It just huirts to come that close and come up 5 yards short. I know how the Titans felt when the WR was dropped one yard short.

OUCH

Yep, I felt the same way when Lee Evans dropped that touchdown pass last year in the AFC championship. Pats went on and we went home.

In the end, we are all football fans and that should bring us together. I tell you, the only team I really hate is the steelers just because they've knocked us out so much over the years. I see someone in a steelers jacket and I prejudge them right away lol.. I don't even know them and I'm sure they do the same for me. Makes a good rivalry I guess. The only thing I would change about the ravens is the thug mentality that everyone has about them. People hate Pollard (although he was surprisingly quiet in the SB) and Suggs and Ray are always saying dumb sh!t. Haha. What can you do.

This - it came out today that he (supposedly) played most of the season with 5 or 6 broken ribs.

Also, thank you for the complimentary posts. This, IMHO, was one of the best SB's in a LOOOOONG time. 5 ...... freaking ..... yards ........

Nice article - makes me believe even more on our chances to win 2-3-4 Super Bowls in the next 8 to 10 years.

Yes. It is on. We go to the Super Bowl next year, I will attend that biotch in boxers.

When you guys come out next, let me know! We are close to SF now...so the festivities shall continue at a local watering hole post game (since Chad won't be attending, and thus, we won't have to babysit the unconscious guy). We shall RAGE!!!

Wow, thx beeker, I hadn't seen that about pollard. Crazy.

And I'd bet a large sum of money that you make it to the championship next year... maybe even to the SB again, it just takes so much to go a team's way. Doubt we will. I'm so leery of what talent we will have left after the cap hammer drops.

Yeah we had that same situation with Kyle Williams and the muff and fumble in OT to seal our fate. Now we have this, a 1st and goal situation at the 7 against a hurting and tired defense. A dream scenario for a power rushing team and we try to outsmart you with quick passes to Crabs from the 5 yard line. What a way to go out. A corner fade.....

Well, like the true fans we are, we always have faith in our team. The 49ers have a few questions to answer on the roster - gonna be interesting to see who stays and who goes. The Ravens, I'm sad to say, most likely won't make it back to the AFCCG - Flacco is a good QB, but .... Good young players on defense, monster receivers (damn you Boldin!!!) and a good running game. They could surprise me!
i can't make a topic yet, so i'll just put this here, it is Epic Beard Man reacting to the result of the Super Bowl:

I wish Raven fans would go get lost somewhere and let us mourn after this one. Even being a good sport disgusts me at this point and I just wish they would evaporate.
Okay - this is what got me riled up early - someone tell me how this DID NOT get called a facemask????

And this one ..... Somehow, I believe wrapping your arm around the helmet is a penalty .....

And here's another one .....

Anyone STILL think we didn't get hosed by the refs???
[ Edited by Beeker on Feb 5, 2013 at 8:37 PM ]
I know I'll catch hell for this..... but it looks like he had plenty of room to catch this .. IF he hadn't been held......
