This is an entirely different D from the ones Willis played in during 2007-2010 under Greg Manusky... Fangio has used Willis ALOT more in pass coverage than he has ever in his career....especially this year. He's not around the ball as much as before because the Niners are dropping him in coverage more. Same thing happened to Ray Lewis when they made the switch to a 3-4 a couple years after they won the Super Bowl. The thing is, if you switched Bowman and Willis' roles, I have no doubt in my mind, PW makes just as much "plays" as Bo.

The prevent defense tires everyone out. He was active the first half, then looked slow in the second when the Prevent a Win defense was employed.
