Yeah Colin Kaepernick going up against a Bill Belichick defense..not good for us...
add in that the fact that Bill likes to be a douchebag and run up the score....I see the Patriots winning this game.

Well if we lose to NE, Seattle is a "must win".

I don't know if Rogers can cover Welker. We have to dominate the LOS on both sides of this game.

Just for the sake of conversation, lets say we dont get the division, do we automatically get the wild card if we lose 2 of the next 3?

Is Manningham expected to be back this week? We are going to need all the fire power we can get.

Problem is, if we're down 21 in the 2nd quarter, we don't even the playcalling and offense to catch up.

Our defensive personnel match up much better against the NE offense than the Texans do against NE. What we need to do is play man and play to neutralize 1:1 matchups. Put Tarrell Brown on Wes Welker, Carlos Rodgers on Brandon Lloyd, and Chris Culliver on Aaron Hernandez. Rush 4 players (Smith, Smith, McDonald, Brooks). Goldson is infinitely better in coverage than any Texans safety so can also man up on Hernandez in 3 wr,1 TE sets.
While this will expose our team to the run, we can afford to do this simply because we have the two best mlb in the NFL (Willis and Bowman) and arguably the best run defending safety (Whitner) who we could shift closer to the line of scrimmage in run support. Force the Patriots to beat us with the run and we will throw their offense out of rhythm.

Pats chew up man coverage. They've been doing it all year.

We are going to go with 5 receiver sets in this game. Harbaugh will try to keep wilfork off the field and spread the field out. Look for Walker and James spread out wide all day.
