Both Fleming and Johnson are unproven, also Fleming can play inside or outside. Edwards is athletic enough to stand if needed, he would also be signed as a pass rush specialist, so I don't think they would ask him to do much.

They signed him to the practice squad though and he'll most likely stay there.
Edwards is a good pass rusher, no doubt he'd be an upgrade over Haggans. Not that we use him anyway.
I doubt we sign him though.

Edwards started all 16 games in 2011 and four of nine games this season. Edwards' playing time had decreased this season, a development coach Mike Smith and offensive coordinator Mike Nolan attributed to extensive use of special personnel packages.

Lol... Remember when we didn't play Manny Lawson alot in some games because of this. Lol...

Yup. But Edwards is good at just rushing the passer that's Nolan's problem he over thinks how he wants to use his players then ends up leaving some out where they're most effective.
