10-5-1 and missing the playoffs?

We need to be realistic that there is a good chance of this happening with the remaining four games. After watching the RAMS game slip away and a very aggressive Seahawk team (they went for the TD) win in Chicago our lead is slight. There's a strong possibility we split our last four games and finish 10-5-1. The Seahawks could run the table and win their remaining four games (Cardinals, Bills, Niners & Rams) and finish 11-5. Not the type of finished I imaged in September.

10 - 5 - 1 doesn't mean we miss playoffs... just not division

I believe if we lose to Seattle, we will lose the division.

And we could also run the table and be 12-3-1 with a first round bye. Also even if we finished 10-5-1 Its mathematically impossible
for us to miss the playoffs. 9-6-1 yes its possible. 10-5-1 No.

I like Kaep but he won't beat the pats or the hawks. And for that matter he won't beat the packers, giants or falcons either. Hope Harbaugh plans on winning multiple superbowls to make up for the one he is giving up this year.

How can the league continue to not hear the appeal from the two Seahawks cornerbacks and continue to let them play?

If it makes you feel any better those 4-6 seeds have been doing better than the 1 and 2 seeds lately.
Giants (6), Green Bay (6), Giants (4)

Awesome that you have a crystal ball. Good thing you didnt post this last week because I'm sure it would have included the Saints too.

Very good chance that will be the case. On the other hand, the Niners have the ability to beat NE.

Considering that the Rams will get better over the next few years and the 49ers defense will get older, I don't know if Harbaugh will have time. The draft classes of 2012 and 2013 would better work out or the 49ers will slip back to also-ran status again.
