Signing Kaeding would bring on nightmarish disappointment. My brother, a huge Chargers fan, backed him 100% even though he cost his team plenty in the playoffs.
Kaeding is full of fail during the postseason. I hope to GOD we don't sign this guy.
f nate kaeding.

Use one of their 13 draft picks to draft the Florida or Florida State kicker in the draft.

Apparently Akers is going to show up on the injury report this week. The Niners will be forced to bring someone in if that is the case. Neil Rackers is still out there and so is Josh Brown, I think.

Man, this is a hard one. Kickers do go into a funk from time to time, and you just hope it isn't the BIG GAME. We are quickly getting to the season where you win or go home. I hope akers gets it sorted out between now and then. Of course, that is better than Pitts having their 3rd string QB playing, Cards are on #4 QB, and literally half the QBs on teams in the league have no business startring. So let's hope akers gets it back , be grateful we have two strarting qBs, and pray for no more 2 season ending injuries to two starters on the same play. Now those are things to worry about. IF akers can get it thru from 30 yds out, good by me. Forget the 40 and 50 yarders.

The San Francisco 49ers brought in veteran kickers Nate Kaeding and Billy Cundiff for a tryout on Tuesday and the thought was David Akers is struggling. Now, it's revealed that Akers is struggling and ailing.
The 49ers kicker, who went to the Pro Bowl last season, is battling a pelvis injury, according to Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle.

If he's hurt, put him on IR and get a fresh leg. If he aint hurt, he is slumping pretty bad, get him a couple of fat chicks and a case of beer, and let him work it out.

I would hesitate big time in dismissing him so quickly. The last thing we want is him in Arizona or Miami making pro bowls and banging 50+ yarders through because we overreacted to some bad games while we watch Cundif hook 20 yard field goals wide right for us.
