where did you hear this? i just heard it was working through something but was fine today
Man, this is a hard one. Kickers do go into a funk from time to time, and you just hope it isn't the BIG GAME. We are quickly getting to the season where you win or go home. I hope akers gets it sorted out between now and then. Of course, that is better than Pitts having their 3rd string QB playing, Cards are on #4 QB, and literally half the QBs on teams in the league have no business startring. So let's hope akers gets it back , be grateful we have two strarting qBs, and pray for no more 2 season ending injuries to two starters on the same play. Now those are things to worry about. IF akers can get it thru from 30 yds out, good by me. Forget the 40 and 50 yarders.
The San Francisco 49ers brought in veteran kickers Nate Kaeding and Billy Cundiff for a tryout on Tuesday and the thought was David Akers is struggling. Now, it's revealed that Akers is struggling and ailing. The 49ers kicker, who went to the Pro Bowl last season, is battling a pelvis injury, according to Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle.
