our defense has a habit of making bottom tier quarterbacks look like pro bowlers
The last few games Campbell couldn't finish against the 9ers, and needed help off the field. Lets continue this trend

please stop. if ck would start I really do not think you would have alot of pro smith guys running around the place making fun of ck.. if they did they would be very foolish in my opinion. this is a big game, we are kind of a wounded stumbling team with a coach who has a heart issue, you ought to be happy we have two good quarterbacks and you ought to support whoever is leading the charge monday
didnt say anything about CK. I was comparing AS with Campbell similar dudes IMO.
you know exactly what i meant

Campbell's average throw has traveled 6.6 yards past the line of scrimmage since 2008, according to ESPN. That's the lowest figure in the NFL among quarterbacks who have thrown at 1,000 passes over that span

I can see it now in the following order..
Alex Smith will start then struggle vs the Bears..
Harbaugh strategically benches Alex Smith, and uses the concussion excuse to justify the move.
Kaepernick gets his feet wet vs the NFL's best defense, giving him valuable experience, which we will most likely need in the playoffs.
49ers win, and Kaepernick continues to surprise..
Then we go apesh*t in the QB Thread because we will be the only team in the NFL with an elite backup QB (who in reality is the real secret weapon of Harbaugh).

The hole in the Tampa 2 is the middle of the field. I'd like to see Roman incorporate plays that get Davis, Gore, Walker, Crabtree in space against Brian Urlacher. Of course Staley, A.Davis, and Goodwin need to rebound and do a better job of blocking the Bears 3 best lineman. Peppers, Melton, and whoever mans the other DE spot (Idonije?)
To quote a scout: "Brian Urlacher sucks. He looks done. I put in the tape of that game against Tennessee and on that INT, he was running like he had a keg of beer taped to his back."

If Kaepernick is playing against the NFL's best defense do mean he is going to play QB for the Bears?

One of the rare moments in life in which we all look forward to "Monday!" I say we take this one... I'm calling it now (i never do this), but we're home, primetime and should destroy Campbell... don't care about back-up factor, we do what we're supposed to do... take care of business --Go Niners!
