Jacob playing time.

Any predictions when B. Jacobs will get to play? With Gore & Hunter playing well, Jacobs might be a bench warmer for the rest of the season

i hate to rust players on the bench...usually leads to mistakes at the wrong time

What I do in madden.....lol....is I have Jacobs as a FB and check it down sometimes to either he or Gore.

Harbaugh et al have a run first team. Keeping 5 RB's and one on the PS Jewel Hampton, is proof that they want to run first, no matter what.

Starters- Gore/Hunter
Insurance- Jacobs/James
ST- Dixon

My question is : When was the last time a newly signed free agent, 1st round and 2nd round draft picks got no playing time by mid-season?

he drops way too many passes and gets called for holding.
Bruce does a great job and doesnt get holding calls nearly as often.

but i use him as FB on short yardage plays sometimes

Someone on a Giants board wonders if there's a personal issue between Harbaugh & Jacobs......something along the lines of Jacobs not being ashamed of winning the NFC Champ game, defending the Bradshaw fumble, etc.

Can it be that? I'd hate for it to be that......but you never know with our coach.

I want him to play. How exciting was it to see those pre-season carries all go for good yardage?

I doubt its that. i think harbaugh is a show you're about the team and we will show you you're a part of it. type of guy.

that is true of course but it is just,,, interesting how they sign the guy and now he is healthy and is not seeing the light of day. not a big deal since we are doing so well but it is,,,, interesting
